Bits and Pieces

Loss and grief grow stale as moldy bread
If you hold on to it too tight.
A bit of bitterness to turn the bridle.
Is not what I intended.

Dreams gone like a vapor.
Dark sayings and visions shown by God alone.
Yet He turns with Moab
Yet He turns with the washpot.

The new Romans nine tail has been put down
And the whip has replaced her.
Martyrs of this age have flooded this earth.
As we cry out to God to save us
From a cruel world.
From a subculture that is void
And does not believe.

Belief in childlike dreams.
Trust in unicorns that carry can carry the load.
Stories that help us not to forget,
That If God turns the bridle
We will be able to put the pieces
Back into the whole.

Alice
Dorthy met Alice
And they both got trapped in a storm.
But this one thing saved them
Dorthy had been there before.

Storms come and go
And houses are built
But the only one that stands
Is the one that has been poured
In deep grounds.

Six Feet
At least that deep
Or the ground will spit them up.
In New Orleans that is.
No way to go down must go up instead.

Honoring the ones gone on.
Is a task fit for a King.
How does one do such a thing.
Live with their gifts and use them.
Go to the ground empty as a hollowed out bullet
Fire yourself into the heart of the dragon,
And watch him go down.

Under
Ausie Ausie oxen free.
David scrificed until
He had to stop for a praise break.

The cart broke and everything fell apart.
The only help was a guard
Who did not end well.

On Ending Well
Mamma didn't raise no fool.

Sam and Sam

Sam and Sam
Said I do
Sam didn't really know what to do.
They were told they didn't belong
So they went and built there own throng.

Rejected and scorned they thought it was too late
And decided God didn't bless for there sake.
They were right about one thing.
The blessing is not just for your sake.
Its for His too.

He blesses because He wants all to know
What He thinks and Who He bestows blessings upon.
The blessing is for the person not for their actions.

Celebrate Christ

Emmanuel with us twice.
Once in the Son,
Then the Spirit upon us,
Celebrating Christ.

Which day will we crown
To make a joyful sound
That rings in the ear of the King.

Shining star of the wise,
Seeking to find,
The Child in His home
Not being alone.

Mother and Father
There to show
The angels of the Heavenly birth.
Courting royalty that bestows gifts at His feet.

Rare spices and pure gold
Which spoke of the end from the future.

Hiding from those
That would want to kill
The Son of Man before
God's full plan came to Light.

Evil didn't know
What part it would play
To bring about each Sunday.
Where we Celebrate Christ.

Died and Buried before He came.
To rise in us each day
That we choose to submit
To His might.

His Hand of Grace that fills us anew
Every time we fest.
Every place we meet,
To sit at His feet
And Celebrate Christ.
