At the Pool

Dragging a body of bones around
In a bag of skin Is how I feel at times.
This tent does not want to comply
With the directions I give.

I do jump in on the inside
But the outer man takes only one step to the right
Before my mind decides it cannot do.
Conditioned from the womb to restrict.
It will take the LORD's voice to say come forth.

So I hear Him mention I am right here.
Don't listen to others who say I am far away.
The waters are troubled.
The waters are still.
The times are for Me to say.

Chimes in tune to a choice that does not wait.
Spirit formed in a heart ready for belief.
A heart that is clouded with tears
Of joy mixed with longing.
To know a Master who wants in return.
Desire for all who would come to Him
And learn to be meek and agree with the LORD who can see.

Rejecting men who heap laws
Of injustice upon those of us who are free.
Who invite a kind of death into a Holy Place.
Deceptive is the party that offers
A slight bit of bondage to embrace with a cup of tea.
Walking tents made for God to meet us in an interval of need.

Acceptance of every evil thing that is released
Is not how He defines true humility.
All things work together for good
For those who hear His call.
Looking for an occasion to sound.
Returning words that don't abide by His guest list.
Mercy and lovingkindness are there.
But sorrow and bitterness decided not to show.

Can you hear the bells of decision to trust His power to change.
The noise of empty hearts to the jingle that signals faith.
Pleasure is the crux of Fathers intent
His and ours there to meet.
Can you hear the ringing of the Bells?
Do you have Sight?.

Songs from Haiti

Songs from Haiti

Songs from Haiti
Streets of concrete tremble above the faults.
Bringing destruction where they shake.
Dark sayings that rush to God
And save many in time to save more.
Rains wash away the dust from weary feet
That run to help with no sleep.

Life springs from those who
Look for a brother or sister in the rubble.
Songs of many rise to His Throne
Sang by some who don’t know
Who to call upon.
But Father is kind and loves to be asked.
So He answers with a yes.

Mass "A Poem"

Mass "A Poem"

Where is the Father?
When He is needed.
The utmost respect
Should be given to the Holy Spirit.
Even though awe is passed on to Jesus.
That's what I was told.

Where is the Father?
He is seated next to Jesus.
Oh, By the Way (selah),
He is needed.
I heard that from the Vine.

But I am not even aware
Of my own filth but He is.
So give Him your sins
And come to yourself.
Go back to the Father.

In exchange for your dirt,
He will give you a robe of righteousness.
And a seal of good credit in heaven.
That's what I was told.
Who told me?
The Father.
In Jesus name.

What is Truth?
He is not a What but He uses Whats
To get a point across.
The point is He loves
To show us how to love others.
Who showed me?
The Father.

When you don't love you hate
So learn to Love
From Love Himself,
Or drown in your own ideas.

Going swimming in philosophies of men
is not recommended.
The waters are crowded.
Some people who don't have any hope
And don't want to live
Will bring you down with them.

Some you have to let save themselves.
Not speaking of the hurting
But those who inflict hurt on purpose.
Who told me?
The Father
After He pulled me out of that ocean.

If you see a man drowning in sins
He is unaware of and don't tell him.
Do you Love? 1 Corinthians 13
Just a question?

Black veils with Allah in mind
Broken hearts because they do not find
Peace in his dress.
Just commands that keep the flesh in line.
But there is power in his hand
Cloaked in the Law
To shake the hearts of men
From the cares of a bitter world
That search for him within.

Wanting to wash hidden shame away.
A burning desire to forget sins
We have sinned against Him,
Causing our hearts to decay.
We fall into a suit of fig leaves.
Awake to a paradise of Allah's dream.
Awake to a new Adam or new eaves.
Awake to a new Euphrates that winds down from the throne.

God does Love and the Creator has made
New pathways to bless man.
As we gather to receive blessings on His terms.
Expect to see His Vision
Not get something else rather than.

We persuade at our own risk
Justified in our asking because He says yes.
Peace from promises older than most.
There in lies the arm of the LORD.
Assurance in His character
To second what He has declared
In the courts of heaven and of men.

Persecution because of what has been said
In our Holy Book the Bible.
Jesus in our stead.

Talking Sidewalks

Talking Sidewalks
(c) 2010 Shundra L. Moore all rights reserved

Walking by the wayside
Head bowed to the ground.
Talking to nobody
Just wanting to hear the sound
Of my own voice.

Just to hear a word from within
That will lift my head from the
Dust of this world.
Dirt heated by the dust of evil
That refuses to let me go.

Who will help me to win the fight
That will determine if my life turns
Towards the Light.
The Lamp of all men.

Who will come and tell me of Him
Who wants me to live.
Who will come and tell me of Him
Who loved me even when
My actions made Him vomit.

Who is this One who desires
To save men from themselves.
He is Christ Jesus and He told me Himself.

The Miracle Worker

One of my favorite movies is the Miracle Worker the main character is blind deaf and cannot speak. This can happen in the spirit but by God's hand like Zacharias who could not speak because he did not believe the angel of God. I feel that I have been in that role spiritually for at least half of my spiritual life in Daddy Gods presence.

I feel Him pulling me into a time of growing pains. My spiritual clothes don't fit. So what must I do but submit to the growth spurts and go on. I really don't like the acne. Seems like that is all I see when I look in HIS word.

But He is full of mercy for all of us. But like normal teenagers I seem to be getting into fights with my siblings. Flinging the word in stead of waiting and asking Daddy God to deal with our differences. I don't want us a the family of God to live in separate house holds. I really dislike denominations.

But I understand this one thing we do have our differences and we must learn to see each others strengths instead of looking at a pimple on our neighbors face.

Daddy God is the one who shuts down our physical senses so that our Spiritual senses will be honed. I'm not speaking of sickness hear. I'm talking about Spiritual communications. Just like one who looses a sense such as sight can hear better than others who can see physically. In my personal experience this has been true. But now I'm learning to do this with just a still small voice from the Father. Instead of a thundering voice.

We can do nothing apart from his intervention in our lives. And many of us are needy. And desirous of a Miracle from the Throne of God. We are to ask Daddy God for the Miracle not Jesus we go representing. And being like HIM in the ways we are allow to. So lets all learn to be graceful towards each others feelings and stop playing like we are bold, and start being confident in Daddy God's ability to help us live together in HIS peaceful rest. We are His children first.
